A research article is one of the forms of academic writing. It is referred to by several terms, including a documented paper, an investigative paper, a reading report, and a library paper (McCrimmon, 1973). Its primary goal as a report is to find and present obvious, structured, and thorough information about a topic of interest. The facts are normally given objectively and rationally, with no purpose of passing judgment on preceding information (Gustavii, 2008). The research article also functions as a thesis as a consequence of learning, analyzing, and investigating the facts of a specific topic. Furthermore, it is written as a solution to a problem to present a strategy chosen by the writer in order to resolve a specific issue (McCrimmon, 1973).
